Athletes from 19 countries ultimately made their way to Ústí nad Orlicí, hundreds of spectators filled the stands, and meeting records were broken in seven of the twelve main events.
On Wednesday, 19 August, Ústí nad Orlicí will host the Rieter Athletics Meeting 2026. This year’s edition will feature the strongest field in the history of the meeting.

On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, the Athletics Meeting Rieter will return to Ústí nad Orlicí as a part of the World Athletics Continental Tour in the Challenger category.
Jakub Dudycha, the Czech national team athlete from Vysoké Mýto, broke the Czech record in the rarely-run 600 meters.
